Facts About The Hymen (SEX)

Image result for hymen
"Hymen" derives from the Greek for membrane. Hymen was
also the Greek god of marriage. These two facts summarize
the conventional wisdom about this widely misunderstood
tissue, that this fabled membrane covers the vaginal
opening, and is "pierced," "broken," or "torn asunder" when
women wed and have intercourse, presumably for the first
time.

For thousands of years, many cultures have believed that
"breaking" the hymen caused pain, hence the belief, still
current, that women experience--in fact, should experience--
pain on first intercourse. In addition, some cultures have
believed that if questions arose about a young woman's
virginity, an examination could determine whether she was
or wasn't. An intact hymen demonstrated her virtue while
anything else proved she'd already been deflowered. Many
cultures have also believed that "piercing" the hymen caused
bleeding. In these cultures, shortly after weddings, new
husbands were expected to produce bloody sheets to prove
they'd (1) married virgins, and (2) consummated the
marriage.
Ridiculous. Here's the rare truth about the widely
misunderstood hymen.
For reasons that remain unclear, female babies are born
with membranes surrounding their vaginal openings. Most
hymens are doughnut shaped and open in the center.
Newborns' hymens tend to be prominent and thick. But as
the years pass, most hymenal tissue thins and the opening
widens. During childhood most hymenal tissue wears away
as a result of washing, walking, athletics, self-exploration,
and masturbation, though little bits may remain around the
vaginal opening, particularly in the area closest to the anus
(hymenal tags).
The intact hymen almost never covers the entire vagina. If it
did, virgin girls could not menstruate. However, the opening
may not look like a doughnut hole. In some women, it has a
ladder-like appearance with bands of tissue extending from
one side to the other. In others, it resembles a honeycomb
with multiple small openings. And in rare cases, an
estimated one in 200, the hymen's single opening is so
small that fingers, tampons, and erections may not be able
to enter comfortably or at all (imperforate hymen). For
women with imperforate hymens, a simple surgical
procedure snips away the excess tissue. But in most
women, by adolescence, any remaining hymenal tissue offers
no significant impediment to using tampons or enjoying
pain-free intercourse.
If hymenal tissue has largely worn away by adolescence,
why do so many women experience pain on first
intercourse? The sexological literature is oddly quiet on this
issue. But I have a few ideas:

Pain on intercourse is a fairly common gynecological
problem. It may be caused by many conditions. Some pain
on first intercourse may have to do with medical issues.

Because of the mythology surrounding the hymen, many
(most?) women expect first intercourse to hurt, which may
become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The expectation of pain
causes anxiety, which can turn minor discomfort into pain.

According to the National Health and Social Life Survey
(1994), about one-third of women recall not wanting sex
their first time or recall being forced into it during incest,
sexual assault, or other coercion or exploitation. Exploitive
or assaultive sex can cause tremendous anxiety and produce
or aggravate pain.

Even when women fully consent to first intercourse, an
estimated "75 percent feel unprepared and find their initial
sexual experience distasteful," according to the late sex
therapist Sandra Leiblum, Ph.D. "Young Romeos, even those
who care deeply about their girlfriends, typically lack the
sexual skill and finesse for enjoyable intercourse." Fearful
that women may change their minds, young men often rush
into intercourse before women feel emotionally ready for it,
and before their vaginas have become sufficiently relaxed
and receptive for pain-free intercourse. Once erections enter
young women, the men they're attached to often imitate the
pounding, piston-like action of pornography. Such
mechanical, non-sensual sex can also cause pain.

Even if first intercourse is totally consensual and loving,
sweet, and sensual, natural anxiety around their first time
may interfere with women's release of vaginal lubrication.
Poorly lubricated intercourse also contributes to painful
intercourse.

Residual hymenal tissue may also contribute to discomfort
or pain, but for the vast majority of women, hymen issues
play a minor, if any role in pain on first intercourse (unless
the woman has an imperforate hymen that has not been
reduced beforehand).

Finally, what about all those bloody sheets? Rushed,
nonsensual, poorly lubricated, piston-like intercourse might
abrade sensitive vaginal tissue enough to cause bleeding.

But throughout history, in cultures that have insisted on
female virginity at marriage, the stakes have been very high.
No blood on the sheets deeply dishonored the bride's family
and might even bring charges of marital fraud. Many brides
have taken no chances. Often under their mothers' direction,
they have filed a fingernail to a sharp point and on their
wedding night, cut themselves on the thigh, producing
enough blood to stain the sheets and satisfy tradition--and
the mythology surrounding the hymen.

HOW TO MAKE HEAVEN

Image result for heaven
There are a lot of misconceptions among Christians on how to get to heaven. Some falsely believe they can get to heaven through doing good deeds, while others may believe that simply going to church every Sunday will get them there. Not so.

If you do not know the teachings of the Bible, then learn using this article and your Bible--and turn to Christ, for this is the message of God's word--that Jesus came to die for sinners and to save them from the wrath to come. It is Jesus and only Jesus who can turn away the righteous judgment of God upon the sinner. Why? Read on...

Steps

  1. Ask yourself, are you a sinner? Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, coveted, or been angry with someone unjustly? If you've lied, then you're a liar. If you've stolen, then you are a thief. You've broken the Law of God. God has said "You shall not steal; You shall not lie; You shall have no other gods before Me; You shall not murder, etc." (Exodus 20:1-17). He has given the standard of righteousness; and if you have broken any of God's commandments, then you have fallen short of that standard and are under the inevitable judgment of God (1 John 3:4; Isaiah 59:2; Rom. 6:23). When you die, you will face Him; and on the Day of Judgment, he will deliver the proper judgment to all people. He must because he is righteous and holy. Here is the the salvation plan!
  2. Learn the gospel (the good news), starting with the historical events of Jesus who lived, taught, died for sinners on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:1-4). His death was a sacrifice that turns away the wrath of God (1 John 2:2). His grace is the only way to be saved from God's righteous judgment upon those who have sinned (for all have sinned) by breaking his Law.

  3. Hear the Gospel of Jesus, and receive the only good news you need. You need his grace alone. Your works won't help you (Rom. 3:10-12; Isaiah 64:6), nor will your sincerity. You can never be good enough, and you have nothing to offer God except your sinfulness. It is only by the love and grace of God found in Jesus and His sacrifice that you can be delivered from the righteous wrath of God upon all who have broken His law. Jesus saves you from God's righteous judgment.
    • The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). That means that your sins have caused a separation between you and God (Isaiah 59:2), and the result is death (Rom. 6:23) and wrath (Eph. 2:3). The only way to be saved from the wrath of God is to be saved from it by faith in Christ (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:1). You must trust in what Jesus did on the cross to forgive you of your sins and not trust anything else--not even your own sincerity or works.

  4. Realize that Jesus is the one who died for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). He is the only way to God the Father (John 14:6). He alone reveals God (Matt. 11:27). He has all authority in heaven and earth (Matt. 28:18). It is only through Him that you can be saved from God's wrath (Eph. 2:3). He can forgive you of your sin (Luke 5:20; Matt. 9:1-8). He can remove the guilt that is upon your soul. Jesus can set you free from the bondage of sin that blinds your eyes, weakens your soul, and brings you to despair. He can do this because He bore sin in His body on the cross (1 Peter. 2:24), so that those who trust in Him would be saved.
  5. If you are not a Christian and want to be delivered from the righteous judgment of God, then come to the One who died for the sins of the world. Come to the One who died for sinners (Matt. 11:28). Believe and trust in Jesus. Receive Jesus, who is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14) and who died and rose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:1-4), as your Lord and Savior.
    1. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins (John 14:14; Matt. 9:1-8). Receive Christ (John 1:12) and the sacrifice he made on the cross (1 Pet. 2:24). Only He can wash you clean from your sins, and only Jesus can deliver you from the future judgment of a holy and infinite God. Pray to Jesus. Seek Him. Ask Him to save you. Put your trust in him.
      • Show your gratitude to Christ for His gift of salvation, and also receive gifts from Him to show you His real, true love for you, but only this first step is required to be saved and go to heaven.
    2. Be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
    3. Live a holy and consecrated life.
    4. Read the scriptures; they say:
    5. Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
    6. Acts 2:4 - And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
    7. Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

HOW TO CONVERT A MUSLIM TO CHRISTIANITY

Converting anyone to Christianity is hard enough. But we also know, as Christians, that anything is possible through Jesus Christ. Our main duty is to not get discouraged by missteps or failures. We have to put our trust in the Lord first and allow Him to direct our steps.

Steps

1
Have a clear reason to convert this person. Why do you want to convert this person to Christianity? Do you want to prove something to others? Do you feel obligated to do it? Has God put this desire in your heart? Or do you just really love and care for this person and want him/her to go with you to Heaven?

  1. Have a clear understanding of Christianity. Are you a devoted Christian? Do you put God first in your life? Are you a good example of how a Christian should be? Make sure to have a close relationship with God. Attend a church every Sunday, read your Bible, have quiet times, and of course ...
  2. Pray. Prayer is the number one factor here. If you want to convert your Muslim friend to Christianity, you have to tell God first! Tell Him how you feel, and really open your heart to Him, so that He can see how devoted you are, and so that He can help you overcome this challenge and achieve victory. Remember to pray daily and to include your Muslim friend. Have faith, both in God and in yourself.
  3. Understand their religion as well. This knowledge may come in handy, especially when it comes to discussions.
    • Be persuasive, but be respectful. You'll be more successful if the other person doesn't feel threatened, so don't insult their faith, or they'll simply become defensive and stubborn (not because they're Muslim but because they're human). Likewise, don't try to force them to convert — it won't work, we've tried.
  4. Invite him/her to church! If your friend won't attend church, then introduce that person to some of your Christian friends so that he/she can feel the warmth and love that we share with each other.
    • "Why should I go to church?" Share your testimony (story of how you came to know Christ or of what God's done in your life) or have a friend share their testimony.
    • Talk about salvation, but don't overdo it — even if you're friends, they'll see you as preachy and tune you out. Again, the goal is to lead by example. Don't talk about doom and gloom and things to come.
  5. Image titled Convert a Muslim to Christianity Step 6
Be kind to others. Showing a good example is also a big key. Be kind, not only to him/her, but to everyone! Always have a smile on your face and always be happy, for God always wants our light to shine. Our actions can have a great impact on others — remember that talk is cheap, but actions are worth so much more.
  6. Be a best friend. Be there whenever you can. If your friend is in a bad situation, don't just sit there and pity them, but rather, do something for them! That way they can see how extraordinary you are.
  7. Image titled Convert a Muslim to Christianity Step 8
Don't get discouraged. Your friend may not ever want to become a Christian, especially when they state something like: "The Bible is a product of man . . . . Not of God (what about the Qur'an) The Bible did not fall magically from the clouds. Man created it as a historical record of tumultuous times, and it has evolved through countless translations, additions, and revisions. History has never had a definitive version of the book" from The Da Vinci Code (as referenced in the below-cited essay), but as the essay goes on to say, that shouldn't stop you from spreading Jesus message, nor from turning people (Muslim or otherwise) towards peace.
    • Remember, even if the person doesn't become a Christian when you are talking to him/her, your witness can make a lasting impact in that life and in a circle of influence, and may be nurtured to accept Christ later.
  8. Discuss "Be peacemakers". Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the Sons of God" (Matthew 5:9). Point out that Jesus/Isa is the Prince of Peace in the Bible. He calls his followers to bring peace to conflict or peace will have little meaning. We may intervene or interfere in warlike situations. We are to bring love and peace, joy,... with us -- Why?: "...brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you" (2 Corinthians 13:11).
  9.  See the larger picture. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 10:16, "Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me."

7 BEST ENTREPRENUERIAL TIPS

1. Find your gift.
When you start out, you must realize that you have raw talents, skills, and abilities. Sometimes you'll have to go out of your way to find them for yourself.
No one will find your gift for you. You have to search for them on your own. Once you do, make a special effort to do what you do best, whether it's dancing, drawing, or driving! Your gift will make room for you.

When it comes to your gift, you either use it or lose it.

2. Tell your story.

No one has the same exact story as you do! It doesn't matter what profession you're in--you must still learn to tell your story. When I started to tell my story, it taught me a lot about myself. It also led me to better opportunities because it improved my communication skills. What's your story? When are you going to share it?

Most people should take the time to think about their story. Your story is important because it tells the world where you've been, who you are, and where you're about to go. Truthfully, everyone wants to know your story. Do yourself a favor and write your life story out in 5-10 pages. Keep in mind that it doesn't have to be perfect. Who knows? Maybe it might turn into a book!

If you want to build a multi-million dollar business, you need a product to sell and a story to tell. When you look at the biggest brands out there, they share a story along with their products and services. Thankfully, it doesn't cost that much to make a product that fits the needs of the people you're trying to serve. What kind of product can you make within the next few months?

4. Expand.

consult with entrepreneurs on how they can brand, promote, and market their businesses. Fortunately, I found that my expansion was totally compatible with what I was already doing.

As I began to serve my clients successfully, my business grew immeasurably. Now, I had different sources of income and new ways to serve people. Along the way, I found new ways to improve my business, even in the smallest ways. All I did was ask the greatest question in the world: "How can I deliver more value to more people in less time?"

5. Build systems.

As your business expands, you’ll need to create systems that support you. Systems that work in your favor will keep your empire from overwhelming you. The right system allows you to protect your most valuable asset: your time. Instead of rushing into false pressures, non-emergencies, and menial tasks, your systems will help you organize and prioritize your tasks.

If it isn't measured, it isn't managed.

6. Hire.

Once your systems have gone beyond your own capabilities, it's time to hire people to help you. For some strange reason, many aspiring entrepreneurs want to call themselves the CEO of the company and assign positions to people who shouldn't even be in their business in the first place. Hiring and training people is a serious duty because of all the responsibilities it entails.

Whether my hired help are virtual or face-to-face, I let them do what they do best as I take care of what I do best: Producing Content.

7. Mass production.

Once you get a good grip on serving your market, you're going to want to scale and leverage your business. To build a multi-million dollar empire, you'll need to produce on a massive level. However, the only way you can cater to the masses is by using your feedback to reach a bigger audience. You should be able to get this feedback from those you've already served.

When you build your competence, your confidence grows. Personally, I feel more confident after each article, and speech I produce. Eventually, the marketplace showed me how to engineer bigger and better products and services to reach more people. When you serve hundreds of people, thousands will show up. If you take care of thousands, millions will come. Try it!

To make a million dollars, serve a million people.

Success begets success. If you start where you are and absorb the opportunities around you, you'll be able to drink the joys of life. You have to take what you get in life to get what you want out of life. Building a multi-million dollar empire is about learning how to serve people on a small level, then taking it to the highest level!

What Makes a Successful Entrepreneur? Perseverance.

Image result for entrepreneur

Entrepreneurship is not the glamorous career path it’s been made out to be. It’s not about big ideas and ideals. It’s not about hopes and dreams. It’s not about guts and glory. It’s not even about invention and innovation.see more hereAnd it’s certainly not about a search for fame and fortune. More than anything, entrepreneurship is a game of attrition. It’s about having the determination, the discipline, and the cash to see it through. It’s about not giving up and being the last man or woman standing when everyone else has fallen
by the wayside.Don’t get me wrong. Having the vision to see what others don’t, the passion to motivate yourself and others, the savvy to build and grow a business, and the guts to make good decisions, are all part of the mix. But what binds those ingredients together is the tenacity to stick with it, day in, day out, year after year.Make no mistake, successful companies have no endpoint. That’s right, they don’t. The goal is to keep overcoming obstacles, growing sales, and making money, ad infinitum. If reading that sends a cold chill down your spine, you’re not alone. The prospect of having to keep all those balls up in the air and grow a business indefinitely is daunting to most. The few that find the notion intoxicating to the point where they can’t wait to get up every morning, get to work, and deal with the chaos of their chosen path in life are the true entrepreneurs of the world. Here are a few real examples to drive home the importance of perseverance in startup success:see more Nobody got Google at firstI bet you didn’t know that Larry Page and Sergey Brin pitched their idea for a standalone search-engine company all over Silicon Valley before Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim finally wrote them a check for $100,000. And in 1999, Google was ranked seventh with just 7.8 percent of the search-engine market. It took years before the startup hit critical mass, came to dominate the market, and became a popular verb all over the world. Jeff Bezos' "purposeful Darwinism"Jeff Bezos may have gotten a jump on ecommerce when he founded Amazon in 1994, but it wasn’t some grand vision that enabled the Seattle-based company to survive the nuclear fallout of the dot-com era and thrive through the Great Recession. It was the tenacity of a highly competitive, results-driven culture built on a version of survival of the fittest Bezos calls “purposeful Darwinism.” Jobs: Perseverance distinguishes successful entrepreneursIn a 1995 interview, Steve Jobs said, “I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance. It is so hard and you pour so much of your life into this thing, there are such rough moments in time that most people give up. And I don't blame them, it's really tough.” Indeed, Apple has persevered; the company was nearly bankrupt when Jobs returned as CEO in 1997. Interestingly enough, Apple has only played a role in creating one market, the personal computer. MP3 players, smartphones, and tablets had all been around for many years when the tech giant entered those markets with a superior product painstakingly designed with the highest standards in mind. The Cupertino company as always taken the long view – and taken its time to be the best at what it does. VC: One of the things I admire most is tenacityIn a recent blog post appropriately titled “Tenacity,” VC Fred Wilson said that’s one of the qualities he admires most in leaders. “Every successful company I have been involved in has gone through periods where things didn’t work, where something important took too long and the doubts start to creep in,” he said. “Employees start to lose faith, the media turns cruel, and you’ve got to hold it all together.”Wilson should know. His firm’s notable investments include Twitter, Zynga, Etsy, Tumblr, Feedburner, and Foursquare, several of which have come under harsh scrutiny as public companies. He also said it took years for SoundCloud to ink licensing deals with the music industry. And although Foursquare recently announced a down round of funding and that its founder, Dennis Crowley, would be stepping down as CEO, Wilson said the location awareness company has “survived and thrived” due to its and Crowley’s tenacity.Lastly, Wilson said, “It gets harder, not easier, as the years pile up. That is where tenacity and believing in yourself and your team and your business is required.”Indeed. Just as with life, successful businesses are marathons, not sprints, except there is no finish line. It’s just a way of life, so live it up.
